5 SEO Tips
Got a new website? These five tips will help you increase traffic.
- Content reigns. Write quality content that is compelling and related to your business! Mix it up. Keep it fresh. Add a blog. It works wonders for driving traffic to a site provided you update it 2-3 times a week.
- Tag words are key. These words aren’t just the name of your business; they’re words that people would most likely type to search and find your business. Ask your web host provider for help here. For example, my business is GlobeTrade.com but my tag words are “going global,” “global small business” and “expand international.”
- Links make things happen. Link inbound and outbound to highly popular, trusted and reputable organizations. It works both ways to drive traffic to your business.
- Videos raise rankings. They’re even more effective if placed on a homepage. “Sticky” videos have a way of engaging users, particularly when the presenter has a great personality. Put some thought into a name for your video features that rings a bell with the world!
- Do something amazing. You can do everything imaginable to increase your SEO, but what matters most is your reputation. Manage it. More tips? Go here: http://tinyurl.com/29mjbn
